The list of clubs that are currently in chase of Paris Saint-Germain forward KylianMbappé has continued to grow longer and this time it has extended all the way to Germany. The France international attacker is a major transfer target for Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and the Los Blancos have been touted as his next destination should he leave France, but it looks as though there will be strong competition for the young striker as Bayern Munich have now entered the race to sign him, according to reports.

The 22-year-old has continued to refuse to sign a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain and that’s the reason he has continued to be linked with an exit from the French Cup winners in recent months. Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was asked last month whether Real Madrid will be working on a deal to sign him in the summer but the French manager played down those rumors and insisted that he will not discuss other clubs’ players.

Bayern Munich have announced that Hansi Flick will be leaving the club at the end of the season and will be replaced by Julian Nagelsmann, RB Leipzig manager, and this is a factor that could affect Mbappé’sdecision about his future.

Flick heaped praise on Mbappé after the meeting between Bayern and the French club in the UEFA Champions League knockout stages earlier this season, and in doing so, he dropped a major hint that he could try to lure the former Monaco striker to the Allianz Arena. However, with Flick departing Bayern this summer, Mbappé could either decide to extend his PSG contract or move to Real Madrid and possibly play under Zidane, who he has admitted to having an admiration for since he was a kid.
